Voices of Engagement podcast series carried out their 4th podcast episode

In the latest episode of the “Voices of Engagement” series, host Catherine Gibson chats with Oleksandr Berezko from Lviv Polytechnic National University, part of the Baltics4UA consortium.

Oleksandr shares how Lviv Polytechnic has been one of the pillars of resilience in Ukraine’s higher education, especially during the full-scale russian invasion when the university opened its doors as a temporary shelter for displaced people. He explains how Lviv Polytechnic is committed to providing as much support as possible to ensure Ukraine’s success in continuing education.

The conversation also highlights a specific format of citizen engagement known as the “experience café,” which Oleksandr describes as a “big success.” This event brought together a diverse group of participants, including students, civil society representatives, and university leadership. Oleksandr emphasizes how this mix of experiences led to a rich and productive discussion, making the event a standout initiative.
