Two hackathon Challenges for Baltic university students working with space data on Ukrainian cultural heritage protection!

Web2Learn is proud to announce that we set up two teams of #university students and staff of #Baltic universities to compete in two #hackathon competitions: a) the #NASA Space Apps Challenge 2023- Dnipro event, and b) #DigiEduHack 2023.

At the NASA Challenge, our Space4UA team will use #space #data and #earth #observations to monitor and visualize threats to #Ukrainian #cultural #heritage.

For the DigiEduHack competition, university staff and students will be encouraged to work with space and #geo data to provide a #data-driven solution to the protection of Ukrainian cultural heritage.

Both Challenges aim to bring to the fore the role of #academia in strengthening #capacity #building and #humanitarian support to #Ukraine and its people.

Are you studying in a Baltic university? Would you be interested in acquiring #advanced #skills on how to use space data to #monitor cultural heritage sites in war-torn Ukraine? Then, join our teams!

To register to our Challenges, please email stefaniaoiko11@gmail.com

Participation in the Challenges is part of the EU-funded Baltics4UA project (Supporting Ukraine through citizen engagement at Baltic Universities, https://baltics4ua.eu/)
